As Davis ponders the wisdom of signing a recording release, one of our crack liquor reps, Vicki Roush, prepares an early-morning sampling of tequila for us .

Always a salesperson, Vicki says, why don't you have a drink before you decide whether to sign or not.

Davis accepts the obvious logic of that suggestion.

Obvious, but perhaps regretable.

With that, he re-examines the paperwork before him.

Vicki says, Perhaps another shot will help you decide.

Discretion being the better part of valor, Davis decides to sign.

Now, how hard was that?
