Green Parrot Parties "Local-Style"

The Green Parrot was flattered to find themselves mentioned in Florida Travel and Life Magazine as one of only five"insider' local spots in Key West. We hope to always retain that distinction.
We found ourselves in good company being mentioned along with with Virgilio's, just around the corner, and our friend Pete's Seven Fish restuarant on Olivia St being listed as other "off the beaten path" treasures.
In mentioning The Parrot as a "quintessential local dive bar", (we'll accept that) they included a great photo of some late-night Green Parrot music action but did not mention that the band on stage in that photo was our good friends from New Orleans, Aaron Wilkerson and Chris Mullet's Honey Island Swamp Band.
