Meet The Alice Foundation

Not just another Key West Drinking Club

Alert reader/customer/Alice Foundation webmaster emailed to inform us of a grave oversight - we failed to link to The Alice Foundation. Don't ask, just go look and learn. And wonder how so many people have so much spare time.

Monday is Alice Day and The Parrot. Come join the club.

(Note: the ear thing was not performed at The Parrot.)

Wow! That didn't take long.

Our new blog has already been noticed in the Blogosphere. Philly blog The Lighter Side of Rittenhouse has blogged our new blog. Go check it out.

This Philadelphia connection is doubly nice, too, as our GM, John, is from Philly and cut his teeth on the bar business in the bar his dad used to own: Sharkey's Tavern, in Upper Darby. (Literally - we think he was tossing kegs before he even started teething.)

Here's to you, James. (drink) Blogging back atcha.

Green Parrot on Comedy Channel

Tonight! (Thurs, June 26) Watch Insomniac (shown here at 10pm) for some great Fantasy Fest fun. The Parrot will be featured on the program, which I assume will not be suitable for children. It's a sure bet there will be surprises in store for us all.

Welcome to the NEW Green Parrot Blog!

This is an experiment, folks. Maybe it'll be a little easier for us to keep you up to date and involved. We'll be providing links to local items of interest and have added a comments section. Your thoughts on this baby are appreciated, let us know what you'd like to see here.

We'll try to post information on the great bands appearing here, any special events, maybe a little gossip, and whatever's blowing in the wind. Many of you have a personal relationship with us, and we'd like to foster and promote that, so we invite your participation. Others may just want to hit and run, checking things out. Those of you who are new to the site and are thinking of visiting us, we hope this will encourage you.

There's just one rule: No Snivelling!

So hit the comments link and tell us what you'd like in a Green Parrot Blog.
